Seemed this was the appropriate place to post plot ideas.
Re Leah.
Something like that works for me.
I Suggest the Whitter-Leyline School is sited in rolling hills of The Chalk backdrop.
1) I'm not sure what the signs of Fae involvement would be except for a sudden warped body count?
2) What the Fae might be up too in a school setting would be a mystery; my thought are: i) something diversionary? ii) retrieving, imbuing, or using something of power there? (maybe play on the ley-line theme) iii) openly establishing a battleground foothold somewhere where the Fae are strong in numbers?
3) Suggest a member of the school faculty is a Silence member.
I'm very open to anything else you may have in mind too.

I was also thinking that it would be in the Chalk, since that seems a logical choice for a large boarding school.
1) A sudden warped body count would be good. Perhaps the Silence scanners have simply picked up on a lot of fae energy around the school, and are about to check it out right as the fey/fae attacks. They could also decide to go on a field trip to the Museum of Prehistoric Beasts, and then one of the "displays" could attack the children. Regina would already be there, visiting that base, and she could assist the kids.
2) The fey would probably retrieving or imbuing some sort of ancient artifact from the school. Or it could be specifically targeting Leah due to her strange aura, which has not yet been studied and might be turned against the fey as soon as an agent gets wind of it.
3) That would definitely be a good idea, especially if the Silence knows of the artifact's existence.

How about this combination of ideas, which would lead to a character intersection.
A London museum gets broken into. No doubt some unfortunate museum security guards met a grisly fate, as incidental collateral damage. I'm sure that would immediately spike Regina's and The Silences' interest. The sole artefact exhibit missing is an old neolithic horn.
Meanwhile Leah, gets into a little school yard trouble, and gets sent to the Dean's office, where she stumbles upon a Silence, monitoring facility/outpost - and blacks it out. That would probably get the Silence running in right direction, and Leah crossing their radar.
The horn is able to summon/control "Grannie" the night-mare steed of the Seelie Court once a century, during the upcoming Beltane or Equinox (or such). “Grannie” is the mythical chalk white-horse of Uffington White Horse fame, … just down the road from the Whitter-Leyline school.

That sounds excellent. Who would care to start? I suppose it'd make more sense for me to do so, to get the background info down.
