DESCRIPTION: Joshua is a bit on the average side: height of one-seventy-five centimeters, weight of seventy-one kilograms, and a face most would forget if they only saw him a handful of times. Being fair-skinned, he suffers from a dash of freckles on the bridge of his nose and near the eyes, though it is usually not noticed unless pointed out or one has an eye for such things. His hair is cropped short, normally being one centimeter in length, two at most.
His body is fairly fit, in the way that his muscles are defined when seen directly, though clothing still normally leaves it hidden. He seems most comfortable in clothing best described as formal casual, though will obviously wear what is more appropriate for the situation.
PERSONALITY: In a quick overview, Joshua is rather stoic on the surface. He’s a bit matter-of-fact and to-the-point, almost so much that one could say the intention was malicious. His tone is formal and he carries this even into casual situations; he’s a bit more distant than more social persons would appreciate. His more defining traits lie beneath this, but for the most part he appears quite two-dimensional.
+Intelligent: Joshua is quick to notice things. He knows a little about a lot, which serves mostly to fuel his more in-depth knowledge. He’s not a master of all, but what he does know, he takes care in understanding.
+Observant: He evaluates situations before anything else. He looks for the little details of people and places, be it the rut in the dirt of a track or the subtle twitches in someone’s face.
+Adaptable: Generally, he is flexible. He’s quick to react to changes in a situation, either one that requires action or a more diplomatic approach.
+/-Logical: In any sort of situation, Joshua keeps level-headed and reasonable about things. Foremost is thinking within this reason and staying on-task. He tries to work out the best way to confront an issue. Unfortunately, when things don’t follow reason or he just can’t figure it out, he’s often at a loss and just won’t do anything.
+/- Tenacious : While an idea or goal still holds merit, he will pursue it until it is obviously a fruitless task. While this is commendable in dire straits, it is just as easily a waste of time.
+/-Skeptical: Believing everything isn’t something most people do anyway, but when something crosses Joshua as odd, it really hits him. If something is off-the-wall enough, he’ll spend hours after hours looking it up, or analyzing it, or otherwise thinking it over. If he doesn’t know enough about a thing that can be considered outrageous beforehand, he tends to not believe it, though he does play along at times.
-Indifferent: Cold and apathetic, Joshua won’t really go out of his way to help others unless instructed or he can perceive a benefit to himself. He’s perfectly willing to simply observe and see what happens.
-Pretentious: He has a bit of superiority complex. This shows with an occasional snide remark, a mutter under his breath, and sometimes reflects in the tone of his voice.
-Vindictive: Although he has a fairly normal threshold of anger, once crossed he never forgives nor forgets. Depending on the perceived offense, he might become actively antagonistic.
-Suspicious: Joshua is a suspicious person in both parts. When noticed and interacted with, he tends to illicit feelings of unease in the way he moves or looks at people, but more in-line with this trait, he is equally distrusting of others. It’s impossible to know what others are thinking exactly and he is painfully aware of this. If he can lie about his intentions, then others can just as well.
HISTORY: Fairly normal. Nice family. His mother passed away due to illness, and as such his father tends to travel a lot, but usually ends up somewhere in Lancashire to call home. He has an older sister, but they have fallen out of touch due to personal conflicts.
